Spent the weekend back East (Connecticut) with family, one of whom runs a janitorial service business for offices of all types. Office space cleaning has decreased in his business. Buildings are not full and offices are only occupied a couple days a week, so no need for daily or even every other day janitorial service. I have no figures on this...but information from an allied business is useful in explaining what is happening. And the result of people working from home is that people who work to clean offices are being laid off. My family member notes that his church clients are cutting back too, but not medical offices.
