Is this an Israeli bathroom? Is there a stone altar and pile of firewood there to assist the requirement?

There are people who live in their own enchanted little world. Made up of dull, easy rhythms, relaxing paces. With calm souls. Unbothered. They’re driving the car in front of me.

Not sure if this should have gone in the adult Beverage thread. If you have a Nigel in your life here's a chance to join other Nigels in celebrating the name in England with other Nigels. Frankly, I think its just an excuse to partake of English "hop based" liquids (beer). The festival is Saturday May 13, 2023 make your plans now. nigefest.co.uk/

That does not say "Nigel" and frankly the spelling and potential pronunciation appears to be rather racist and offensive. Are you sure this isn't an act they booked for CPAC?

Remember: this is England and they have different ways of aggravating other English-Speaking countries.

To the amazement (and amusement) of people that know me, I often delve into actual literature. A favorite quote from a very underrated writer and actor.
In 1972 the Academy Award winning actor David Niven wrote a memoir titled “The Moon’s a Balloon” and he discussed the message he received from his friend Robert Benchley:
Benchley was one of the wittiest men alive, but unlike most people full of funny things to say, he was rather retiring. … Benchley disappeared to Europe. I made him promise to go to Venice, which he had never before visited. One day he cabled me, and in view of the address he used, the fact that it was delivered was flattering enough:
VENICE
NIVENTRAVEL
HOLLYWOOD
STREETS FULL OF WATER. ADVISE
BENCHLEY

Looking it up it is apparently a follow-up to "The Moon's a Balloon." As I recall I really enjoyed the book.
