Silly rabbit. Educated societies are for democracies. The GOP elites wants the feudal system for the masses, at least until they can replace most occupations with robotics. Then "The Thinning" can begin, to reduce the pressure on planetary resources.

You can smell the desperation to get the conversation to shift from the Jan. 6 Republican Insurrection, "legitimate political discourse", and the Big Lie. This utter nutter is making some wild accusations. I'm assuming he simply wants to a) attack the Capitol Police and b) play the victim. Judging from the amount of coverage it fell with a thud. Turns out the idiot or some idiot on his staff inappropriately left his door open. So why the hubbub? Maybe this.

Republicans are now fully embracing one crackpot lie after another to justify their actions. They are full blown post-truth. Here's asshole Marsha Blackburn repeating yet another lie to justify her obstruction.
So what is this lie based on? Something that would actually save the lives of a lot of red-state drug addicts. I guess those people don't vote so much, though, so Republicans would be fine just letting them die.

Republicans including, of course, Faux News douchebags are showing their other face as they turn their backs on what they said about BLM protests and embrace a literal blockade. How ... expected.

Republicans tried to push a lot of Putin's propaganda in the early days. Then they fell back to "why should we do anything about Ukraine?" The rhetoric over the Russian "client" party is aging badly and they're trying to shift. After all Putin's money dries up if they're out of office. Bold mine.
Defending wanton slaughter (and slaughter of WHITE PEOPLE at that!!!) doesn't play well.

Republicans are out in full-screech defense of Ginni and Clarence Thomas. Remember when a justice was called on to recuse himself on an immigration case just because he was Hispanic, not because of anything he had said or done? Yeah, that was a legitimate call but a justice whose wife was literally involved in sedition is trustworthy. (The very same justice who "forgot" to report $300,000 of income she made working on political issues he ruled on.)
It gets worse from there.

Every once in a while I like to play "Change a Fact" with some hard core RW. In this case: all factors are the same except its Justice Sotomayor's husband that took money. Still think the same ?

Perhaps it's unfair to blame all of this on the right but who f***ing cares. Even before Senator Snowball gave his little performance the Republican Party was hostile to all science that did not tell them what they already "knew."

The "Pillow Guy" is being sued by a Dominion employee . Mike Lindell Served With Defamation Lawsuit by Ex-Dominion Staffer in VideoA clip of MyPillow CEO and conspiracy theorist Mike Lindell being served with another defamation lawsuit has gone viral. Lindell, who has been accused of regularly pushing misinformation regarding the 2020 Presidential Election, is being sued by Eric Coomer, a former Dominion Voting Systems employee, who says Lindell defiled his character with his false election fraud claims. Lindell was served the legal notice just before he was due to speak at an "election truth" rally outside the Colorado Capitol on Tuesday. www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/mike-lindell-served-with-defamation-lawsuit-by-ex-dominion-staffer-in-video/ar-AAVUt9s?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=fe077a0021f44caaa993eb4cc8264be4Where is this idiot getting all the money he's been spending ? With the sales of his products tanking, how is he doing it ? PS: Sometimes I think we should have a thread named "This just in from Planet Twilo". The first entry should be Ginny Thomas' tweet about Gitmo barges et al.

DeSatanist goes on a full, tactical assault against reality. He has learned, both from Trump and his own experiences, that telling flat out lies doesn't come with political consequences so why not keep the base riled up?

Maybe some of those word problems involved figuring the percentages of black cows v white cows in the cow population and then asked about the percentage of steers v. bulls in the white cow population.

The GOP plan for the courts is to castrate most administrative agencies created from the New Deal and beyond. "George Washington only had 4 cabinet-level departments, and he probably should have only needed two -- Treasury to help funnel wealth upward, and War, for protecting that wealth."

More on DeSatanist's assault on reality and windmills of non-existent CRT. Even this Faux News host called out the fact that DeSatanist and his SS (Stupid Shit) Brigade refused to come up with examples. Her guest picked up the real story: Bill and Melinda Gates!
The administration showed one math problem. No shock but it didn't exist in any of the banned text books. In fact it didn't exist in any textbooks at all. It was from a website and, lo and behold, it was edited. (It appears that there was a math quiz integrated with facts about Maya Angelou that was altered in a highly racist fashion.) Skip to 0:45 of the video to miss having to listen to DeSatanist speak / lie, synonyms in his case.
