Someone somewhere wondered if after these watches came out, can The Trump Tesla Cybertruck be far behind? They would be pretty in all gold.
Would it though? God knows I'm not a fan of how generically similar all cars have become, but man that cybertruck is ugly.

This could go under "Stupid Criminals" but since Mayor of NYC Adams was taking illegal campaign contributions:

Incompetently committing crimes like cartoon villains seems to be the one thing that has bipartisan support. See, for example, top secret documents stashed in Trump's bathroom or the cash stuffed in Menendez's boots.

A gold cybertruck would only look good if the owner was also wearing a pair of Trump gold sneakers. Though many would consider that a red-flag warning.

You mean the incEl Camino? Of course raccoons are confused about them, too. They can't be blamed for confusing them with dumpsters.

How much of this stuff that Trump is marketing (silver coins, watches, crypto) is simply creating an avenue for foreign nationals to shove money to him against future favors from him as POTUS? If you wonder which of his fans might be able to afford a 100K watch---well, some Russians, Saudis, and Chinese, among others, spring to mind. If fact, they might like to buy a few hundred of them.

My first thought was that the watches and crypto were vehicles for money laundering by the groups you mentioned. And they are be the equivalent of the booking rooms at the Trump Hotel in Washington DC as well.

If you wonder which of his fans might be able to afford a 100K watch---well, some Russians, Saudis, and Chinese, among others, spring to mind. If fact, they might like to buy a few hundred of them. Here's an article examining the actual value of the timepieces. Spoiler: A complete watch is valued at about $30K so there's a sizeable "profit" margin. Donald Trump is selling a $100,000 gold watch with a tourbillon. Wait, a what? But among watch cognoscenti, the timepiece attracted instant opprobrium. In Instagram posts, WhatsApp group chats and TikTok videos, influential voices savaged the solid-gold watch over its appearance and cost. Trump said only 147 will be made in two hues of gold. In one online clip, Mike Nouveau, a vintage-watch dealer with a large online presence, calculated the value of some of the watch's parts, a tally far below its retail price. He said the timepiece featured an "off-the-shelf" tourbillon that costs less than $3,000. How much is all that gold and all those diamonds worth? Nouveau said on Instagram that the value of 200 grams of gold was less than $13,000. And Jeremy Auslander, partner at L.A.-based Roxbury Jewelry, who examined images of the timepiece at The Times' request, estimated that it contained 1 to 1.25 carats of diamonds. He said the retail price for those diamonds at a VS1 grade — the clarity listed on the Trump Watches website — was about $2,500 to $3,500. When factoring in the price of the watch's movement — a term for its mechanical innards — as well as fabrication costs, experts told The Times that it probably cost between $20,000 and $30,000 to make each one. O'Dell, the watch dealer, noted that plenty of mainstream watchmakers enjoy similarly fat margins: "Pricing in this industry often doesn't square with reality." www.msn.com/en-us/money/markets/donald-trump-is-selling-a-100-000-gold-watch-with-a-tourbillon-wait-a-what/ar-AA1rw1XE?ocid=msedgntp&pc=HCTS&cvid=7a212e9bcdec47ca80e47ccb0772f6a7&ei=46

With respect to the watches, not only are they highly marked up, but in the fine print some (who took the time to read it) say none of these lovely for sale watches have yet been made, there is no guarantee that they will be like the sample pictures, there is no date for when they would be available, and, in fact, no guarantee that they will ever be available. So if Mr Trump loses, you can bet your entire purchase price will have been a donation. Those clunky watches are apparently out of style. If, for example, you look at the watches Rafa Nadal (tennis) wears by Mille, they are more creative and interesting. www.richardmille.com/ (opps, can't get the link to work properly) Also insanely expensive. Trump watches, like the man himself, are grotesque. Vulgar in the true sense of the word. In this day and age, 100K is not that much. His target audience are probably small business owners, and anyone in certain locations who might want to borrow on their 2M house to buy one. Lots of places like that in the US now. A fool and their money.

Like the shoes that he apparently thought would endear him to Black voters? Always be grifting!

I'm sure we've seen the GOP "obsession" with LBGT, sex change for school kids, drag queens reading books, Christian Values of some kind.
Seems we couldn't go one news cycle without hearing some new groups "combatting" godless commie, socialists. Or finding out there are school districts setting up litter boxes in school bathrooms.
I wonder how soon these issues will become unimportant to the GOP.
I'm sure the deportation of 8 million people will wind up being "just the way to do business".

I think the deportation thing will end up being like The Wall. Even tho Steven Miller is probably dedicated to it the logistics will make it impossible to accomplish. This is not today it won’t make lives miserable for those who are targeted. locally some of the school board members who were hot about gay and trans people were booted out in this election. Maybe people will stop listening to the nonsense
