Taking a long ride into the Adirondacks today: In the entire circle of the year there are no days so delightful as those of a fine October.
Alexander Smith How was the color? I was in that area two years about now and it was nowhere near full color. Not really in "full bloom". BUT...I can safely report Paradox Brewing's "Leaf Peeper" a "German Style Fest Lager" is on sale through October. This beer alone is worth the trip. |

We're in South Jersey taking care of Nana for a few days until its time for the college reunion on Saturday Nov 4. Chauferred side trips to Broadway and McSorley's Old Ale house on Friday night. But first, we possess our souls in patience.

Its Sunday. In the Philly area where I'm visiting, the Giants game is opposite the Eagles game. Guess which one I'll be watching.
In Montana, they renamed a town after an all-time great, Joe Montana. Well, a town in Massachusetts changed their name to honor my guy Terry Bradshaw--Marblehead.
