We just caught 4 of the 6 episodes of "History of Swear Words" hosted by Nic Cage on Netflix. He's a little bit (intentionally) hokey but they have lots of comments by people including comedians and lexicographers on whichever word they're looking at. One of these people actually used to write and update definitions for the Merriam-Webster dictionary. They go into the history the word's origin (if known), origin myths, and change in usage winding up with how the word is used today. It's fun, interesting, light, and only about 20 minutes per episode.

I don't care about the Oscars and my wife and I couldn't get into "Everything, Everywhere, All at Once" but I thought this now and then post was pretty cool.
The lead actor came from quite the background including living in a refugee camp.
