Who is attending these rallies? I'm wondering if there isn't a group of people analogous to the Dead Heads that followed the Grateful Dead around the country. The book by the Wall Street Journal guy said there was a group like that during the 2016 campaign. B…b…but isn’t it Antifa that’s the group of rabble-rousers, and paid out of Soros’s deep pockets? In all seriousness, the possibility that many of the loudest noisemakers at these things are the same people had crossed my mind, too.

Garden variety bribery has become so quaint these days. Still, I hope they lock his ass up.

He apparently mistook the standard "kissing babies" retail politics strategy for "kissing babes."

Cawthorn again. Her analysis of her former boss sounds pretty spot on.

Cawthorn is in simultaneous free fall and meltdown. Maybe add collapse to that. He's acting like a f***ing child lashing out without the remotest clue about what he's doing. Of course nothing is his fault. The gay angle of things is, of course, a massive negative in the GOP especially today.

They perhaps thought his disabled status and the ultra 2nd Amendment right wing words might appeal to a certain group of young voters. Plus there was a bit of owning the libs the Reps got out of it his physical disability. He ain't playing no victim here like wimpy Dems would. But now he's more trouble than he was ever worth so he's being dumped. It was bound to happen eventually.

General Creighton Abrams used to say it a lot: "The higher you get up the flagpole, the more your ass is exposed."
Too bad: such a rising star/dirtbag/publicity whore/idiot/Russian dupe.

I swear this guy is in free fall. Anyone that votes for him would be delusional at best. Maybe they'll change their minds when they realize this was "icky gay sex". Nude video latest scandal turning Republicans against U.S. Rep. CawthornWASHINGTON, May 5 (Reuters) - A grainy 28-second video showing a naked young man gyrating against someone in bed amid squeals and laughter was the latest in a string of episodes that has turned Republicans against one of their own: the brash U.S. Representative Madison Cawthorn of North Carolina. The group that released the video online said it depicted Cawthorn, who did not dispute the claim. The 26-year-old political novice on Thursday slammed the video's release as a "hit" and "blackmail" against him and said it showed him joking with a friend years ago. www.reuters.com/world/us/nude-video-latest-scandal-turning-republicans-against-us-rep-cawthorn-2022-05-05/

I swear this guy is in free fall. Clearly the Republican Party, at some level, want him gone. I have no doubt they're the ones dropping this stuff. They know they don't want a repeat of their Roy Moore debacle.

Au contraire. The next GOP president dictator intends to put Roy Moore on SCOTUS, even if they have to impeach or murder a Democratic-appointed justice to get him there. Justice Alioto needs more support to strike down other "constitutional rights" cases. Roberts is a RINO, in MAGA minds.

Well that's not a problem because the pedophile doesn't have to run in an actual election. All of the votes that matter, i.e. Senate Republicans, will put him right in ... right after Susan Collins wrings her hands, tsk-tsks a bit, expresses her "concern", and then finally votes for him.

I guess there's a limit even in North Carolina as to how much you can let someone "own the libs". Anyone remember the "Wiccan, anti-masturbation" candidate from Delaware ? 'Too much trouble': Some western North Carolina conservatives sour on Madison Cawthorn“I’m very conservative, and I just don’t want anybody in office that does not respect the rule of law, and so, therefore, he pretty much put a big black ‘X’ on his name,” said a middle-aged man in Franklin, who one week before the May 17 primary voted for state Sen. Chuck Edwards, and who, like most Republican voters interviewed by the Washington Examiner, declined to provide his name. “I do not appreciate his lifestyle.” www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/too-much-trouble-some-western-north-carolina-conservatives-sour-on-madison-cawthorn

We'll see if he has 15 minutes of notoriety within the state and his political party. I'm wondering if the opposing party will try to use him, their acceptance of him, as a reflection of the poor judgement of the party collective.

Our favorite insurrectionist is at it again. Never mind its unconstitutional, never mind you're punishing an entity for disagreeing with you. Its what MAGA wants done. Hawley introducing measure to strip Disney of copyright protections
(The Hill) — Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) introduced legislation on Tuesday that would strip "woke corporations like Disney" of special protections enabling companies to hold copyright material for decades. <SNIP> Hawley said in a press release that "the age of Republican handouts to Big Business is over." (< Only until we get a GOP president) "Thanks to special copyright protections from Congress, woke corporations like Disney have earned billions while increasingly pandering to woke activists," Hawley said in a statement. "It's time to take away Disney's special privileges and open up a new era of creativity and innovation." www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/hawley-introducing-measure-to-strip-disney-of-copyright-protections/ar-AAXhMED?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=U531&cvid=d4b18b2857a14cf5aa01f1ba1bbecbac

Madison Cawthorn lost his primary bid. Onion staffers have mixed feelings. No worries, Onion. The type of crazy that is Cawthorn doesn't come around that often. He has a future in MAGAstan, even if it's as a media figure on Fox/Newsmax/OANN.

Madison is at it again. This time its a version of "You won't play with me. I'll show you !!" A bit like Lex Luthor. On the other hand... Its nice to see them eating their own. Not funny: Critics explain how Madison Cawthorn's 'Dark MAGA' revenge declaration could be a threat to public safetyRep. Madison Cawthorn suffered further humiliation on Thursday after calling for a "Dark MAGA" movement to defeat "cowardly and weak" Republicans. Cawthorn's comments came to days after he became the youngest Republican congressman to lose a primary. "There are other National figures who I believe are patriots, but I am on a mission now to expose those who say and promise one thing yet legislate and work towards another, self-profiteering, globalist goal. The time for gentile (sic) politics as usual has come to an end," he wrote. "It’s time for the rise of the new right, it’s time for Dark MAGA to truly take command." "We have an enemy to defeat, but we will never be able to defeat them until we defeat the cowardly and weak members of our own party. Their days are numbered. We are coming," he threatened. Cawthorn's statement generated a great deal of commentary online. Bestselling author Don Winslow told Cawthorn to "save us the dark MAGA takeover BS and just tell everyone more about the Republican coke and orgies parties."www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/not-funny-critics-explain-how-madison-cawthorn-s-dark-maga-revenge-declaration-could-be-a-threat-to-public-safety/ar-AAXuyAZ?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=36d0516d28644ac49d6e1067a8d2cae7

His political grift just ran out and he's not qualified to make a living any other way. Sounds like a majority of congressional Republicans at this point.
