I'm not sure I understand the proposals being put forward. It's been suggested that Biden could "forgive" $50.000 in accrued college debt. What about for such students, going forward, or new students beginning their undergraduate studies. It's been suggested that community college costs should be subsidized but what about other public or private college tuition and costs? Why should past students have relief and new students none?
