Britain's new PM failed to heed the old show biz axiom, "Never work with children or animals. They are scene stealing and completely unpredictable."

Britain's new PM failed to heed the old show biz axiom, "Never work with children or animals. They are scene stealing and completely unpredictable." To be fair, it looks like the cat, as “Chief Mouser,” belongs to the residence, and not to any individual occupants—the description has Larry on his “fourth prime minister.” Put differently, if you believe the maxim “Dogs have owners, cats have staff,” Ms. Truss is Larry’s fourth Chief of Staff since 2011.

UK's trade imbalance just hit a historic high. Nice job, Trussy. Why don't you and Nigel Farage do a celebratory photo-op together?

Where are the architects and movers of Brexit? Why aren't they defending their policy? I guess now that the UK is out of the EU their contract with Putin is completed. Time to figure out another way to screw their country for money.

I would say " turmoil" is a pretty good word.

Occasionally, I pine for the days when people weren't so enthusiastically playing Russian Roulette with their futures...and then I remember there weren't any.

I don't suppose the trickle down supporters will see what happened to the financial markets in England and think "maybe tax cuts are not a good idea."

And Truss keeps slipping.

And Truss keeps slipping. And why hasn't CPAC parachuted a bunch of true believer evangelists, guaranteeing the public that God(r) loves tax cuts for high earners, and it's their representative's divine duty to bring them about? Oh yeah, the UK is still a democracy. Keep sending those paratroopers to Hungary. Orban is working on that democracy problem.

And Truss resigns...that was some tenure, a whole six weeks worth.

And Truss resigns...that was some tenure, a whole six weeks worth. I hope I can find the results of comparing her tenure to a head of lettuce left out. The last I saw they added a blonde wig to it and it still looked fine.

Well, the lettuce won't get a £100K+/yr allowance for the rest of its life for its 44 days in office, so I'm actually gonna declare Truss the winner.

There have been what? 3 prime ministers since Brexit passed in 2016? Hhmmm, could the problem maybe, just maybe, be that Brexit is impossible to implement without destroying the British economic system for a number of years?
