To be fair, it looks like the cat, as “Chief Mouser,” belongs to the residence, and not to any individual occupants—the description has Larry on his “fourth prime minister.”

Put differently, if you believe the maxim “Dogs have owners, cats have staff,” Ms. Truss is Larry’s fourth Chief of Staff since 2011.
