Floriduh isn't just seeing snowflakes, it's seeing a snowstorm. Jim Crow lives and white supremacy/nationalism is now a core Republican position. I was just hit with a blinding flash of the obvious when I noticed that both the "I will not get vaccinated" and the "Don't try to make me feel guilty for something that happened before I was born" folks all lack a sense of community, of recognizing that people they don't know are important too. It's all about "me." Vaccines protect other people? Who cares! Society's structures created negative impacts of certain disfavored groups of people? I don't wanna hear about it!

Next up - "The Slavery Was Positive Act of 2022", which mandates classroom and employer discussions on the benefits of capture, transit, and employment opportunities of Happy Negroes to the Land of Freedom

This is an revelatory anecdote about Lindsey Graham's assumptions about Mexican Americans...California US Senator Alex Padilla says this:

Another white supremacist group that masqueraded as peaceful "patriots" has been unmasked.

Ya' know, for something the right-wing has told us repeatedly is barely an issue anymore it sure is easy to find one loud and proud bigot after another, especially in the Trump incarnation of the GOP.

Who thought it was a good idea to give Eric and Don Jr. a box of spray paint?

Alabama attempts an incredibly f***ed up move towards inclusiveness ... while still clinging to its racist past. This is just f***ing weird. Who in their right mind would think this was a good idea?

Schadenfreude. Such Schadenfreude. I'm sure Malkin, who's a nutjob, whined that she's the victim. Shoulda' read the rules first, honey.

Racism helps some people go up the Republican political ladder. Here's a classic example. So its the asshat she's going to work for.

The punch line of the joke is: You don’t have to be a brain, see better, etc etc. to be a boss. You just have to be an asshole.

I guess the following would be banned by some of the anti CRT laws being proposed today because reading this makes me embarrassed and feeling guilt by association. This was in the '20's, the time of the Red Scare and resurgence of the KKK.

This was in the '20's, the time of the Red Scare and resurgence of the KKK. In 1920, the late Marcus Mosiah Garvey, Jr. presented his famous “Back to Africa” program in New York City. The program encouraged the black community living abroad as slaves to return to their homelands in Africa. It was part of a social movement dubbed the “Universal Negro Improvement Association” (UNIA), which was founded by Garvey in his native Jamaica in 1914. Through this movement, the celebrated Jamaican political leader intensified black enslavement and racial discrimination sentiments. face2faceafrica.com/article/marcus-garvey-presents-his-back-to-africa-program-this-day-in-1920

Personally I think if Black Americans decided themselves to do what he suggested that's fine. But being driven by whites to do it is a whole different and objectionable thing.

All it would take is Trump as president and almost any Trumpy Republican as GA's governor and they'll receive full pardons. Murder isn't remotely off the table for the fascists, especially of somebody clearly guilty of ... well, something I'm sure.
