My wife and I have been binging adult cartoons on Netflix. We’re currently catching up on “Big Mouth”, a series about junior high kids going through all the awkward changes that junior high kids go through, except they actually interact with the creatures that drive their urges, especially the hormone monsters. In this episode Andrew is visiting family in Florida and his once little cousin is now super hot and super suggestive. His hormone monster, Maury, explains (in song) why it’s OK to kiss her because they’re in Florida. And then there's this lead-in quote:
“Wrong? We’re in Florida! The state bird is a chicken finger.”
"That's the problem with being implacable foes - no one has any incentive to treat you as anything more than an obstacle to be overcome."
