Hello all,
Yes, after long absence and all that the prodigal son has returned. No need for the fatted calf; being vegetarian I'll happily settle for a meatless moussaka or a mushroom stroganoff, so long as the wine is good.
For those who have not met me previously, I enjoy polite disputation and followed several people from Frum Forum/New Majority to the old TRS site to here for that purpose. If you disagree with anything I write, chances are I'd be happy to hear your no doubt misguided opinion attempting to set me straight. In the unhappy event it turns out you are better informed than I, I suppose I'll have no choice but to congratulate myself on my good taste or fortune in sparring partners.
Other than that, I am a Californian and glad of it (although we're doomed, of course), a booklover, previously twice married, and currently a minor but I believe useful cog in county government. I wrestled in high school and college, have numerous much-loved nieces and nephews, and milked Cesar Chavez's two goats a few times as a child. I occasionally fall off the face of the earth for a time when depressed about my species
I imagine that's enough to get on with.
