Frum Forum went belly up, then the original TRS. Beginning to think it's me. Good grief, I hope not! OTOH, considering that Legacy TRS had a run of close to a decade (I can’t speak to how long the original FF ran), I don’t think the track record is too shabby. |

Man, ProBoards is really struggling today. I'm having some posts completely dropped and others getting posted but giving me this interesting error message.

It looks like Proboards has a New Years Resolution to make money by advertising. It's not bad on a computer browser, but it's quite obnoxious on a mobile device.

Yes, Bact brought this up in the last day or two. I thought we were paying to avoid the ad experience? Perhaps a change in the terms?

I’ll have to dig around a bit; as Indy said, there might be a change in the terms. AFAIK, the charges to *not* have ads are still going through.
Please bear with me, though—owing to a deterioration in my situation across town, I may not have much time for mental energy to address this quickly.

Interestingly enough, when I logged in just now (0818 01/02/2023), there weren’t any ads. Don’t know if those last couple days were some glitch on their end, or we somehow exceeded the 50K page view allotment (doubt that), or what.
