Looks like what some folks will want to say is a "lone wolf crazy guy but not a right wing terrorist" broke into Nancy Pelosi's house in San Francisco. He attacked her husband with a hammer and was asking "where is Nancy?"

Looks like what some folks will want to say is a "lone wolf crazy guy but not a right wing terrorist" broke into Nancy Pelosi's house in San Francisco. He attacked her husband with a hammer and was asking "where is Nancy?" "Just a typical tourist visit to the Pelosi residence." "I'm sure he was Antifa. He had a hammer, but had he dropped the sickle?" "The FBI unlocked the front door and planted him there"

He attacked her husband with a hammer and was asking "where is Nancy?" Glenn Youngkin, with a pathetic fig leaf caveat, made a joke about it. Smooth on the outside, full blown fascist and terrorist supporter on the inside.

In the talk o' sphere people are arguing about whether this episode should be described as an attempt on Nancy Pelosi's life or an attack on Paul Pelosi. Given what the police have released it sounds to me like this guy wanted Nancy Pelosi, maybe to kidnap her...zip ties?...no mention of a firearm. To me this was an attempt to do "something" bad to Nancy Pelosi and should be characterized as this. The fact that Nancy Pelosi was not home does not make this any less an attempt to do her some harm.

I'm quoting a lot here from a substack run by never Trumper Charlie Sykes. The talk o' sphere folks are getting more and more slimy in their talk about the attack on Pelosi. There's a lot more stuff quoted from Twitter but you get the idea. And of course, this is mostly from Twitter. There are less crazed folks who simply say Pelosi was not targeted...after all San Francisco is crime ridden city with no police protection and a crappy district attorney (who got recalled last summer). This was just a random and common break in according to these folks

Great job, Elon. Zuckerberg must be touching himself right about now. I'm sure they've got a Twitter competitor ready to go. Either that or he'll just buy Twitter once you wreck it for a huge discount over what Musk & Co. paid.

Terrorism really is the only word to describe this.

Terrorism really is the only word to describe this. Attempted kidnaping is one of the charges against the guy who invaded the Pelosi house. The semi organized part of the right wing that put the 1/6 event together relied on dudes like this one. Not hired assassins, but folks that drink the Koolaid and decide to act on the conspiracy theory. Cheaper that way and harder to infiltrate from a law enforcement perspective.

Gee, who could have seen this coming, asshole.
So he understands where virtually the entire problem lies, right? RIGHT? And there's the collective blame. Yeah, my side started it but both sides are now to blame. Just another Republican douche nozzle who can never fully take blame for what his side, and he himself, created.

First they incite terrorism, then they downplay it. They are giving aid and comfort to America's enemies and why not? They too are America's enemies as we goose step away from democracy.

In the world of Twitter lying just having the falsehood up for a few hours is enough to get it to the people who are outraged that Nancy Pelosi exists. Taking it down is just part of the game or at least it was before Musk took over. It used to be an attempt to avoid being banned from Twitter. Now it isn't necessary anymore.

The prosecution in the trial of Oath Keeper and terrorist (but I repeat myself) Elmer Stewart Rhodes finished their closing arguments by playing audio of Rhodes himself for the jury.
I hope this traitor never sees sunlight again.

A number of the big, tough Proud Boys folded out of fear and cooperated with the FBI. I guess it's easier to be tough when you're at a peaceful protest brandishing firearms and cosplaying real men.

Interesting defense strategy...defiant assertion of election denial, apology to officers, and Twinkie defense on Covid which has little to do with election denial.
