Tucker Carlson's Latest. It doesn't get any better

I'm sorry to start a new thread but Tucker seems to be a one man wrecking crew of weirdness.  He really deserves his own.

The latest Tucker production bemoans the "Loss of Testosterone in US Men" by showing us photos of bare chested men in really weird situations. I can only say the writers at the "Onion" can't come up with anything so weird it couldn't be shown in a Florida classroom.  I wonder if Jerry Fallwell JR and Cindy were used as technical advisors.

One person quipped the Fox News host would be arrested if he tried to show the video in Florida schools. Critics of Fox News host Tucker Carlson were taken aback by the striking homoerotic nature of the trailer for his upcoming “documentary” about what he calls the “collapse” of testosterone levels in men.

The steamy trailer for the first episode of his new season of “Tucker Carlson Originals” features a series of shots of half-nude, muscular (white) men. They’re pumping rubber, chopping wood, grilling, firing a gun — and wrestling — accompanied by the soaring, thumping musical theme “Thus Spoke Zarathustra,” which was widely popularized in the 1968 film “2001: A Space Odyssey.”

Oddly, many of the men’s faces are blurred out or hidden. In one scene, a naked man stands with arms outstretched and genitals illuminated behind what one observer said looks like a Tesla recharging station.

A little over a decade ago, McGovern managed both an Abercrombie and Fitch store and an Aeropostale in Miami, and as of 2015 was the director of a pet store. But hey, he’s clearly hot a scientist enough for Carlson.

Even Kid Rock couldn't handle this one.

“Dude, stop! Testicle tanning? Come on. I haven’t heard anything like that in a long time,” cried the conservative country star and trusted aide to former president Donald Trump.

“Open your mind, Bobby!” Carlson, notoriously open-minded Fox News host, exclaimed. “Don’t you think at this point when so many of the therapies, the paths they’ve told us to take, have turned out to be dead ends that really hurt people, why wouldn’t open minded people seek new solutions?”

Rock remained unconvinced.“I don’t know what the hell is going on in this world,” he said. I’m not even sure if I understood that question. But some days you just want to stop this planet and let me off.”

Since this week’s news that Elon Musk bought Twitter, Fox News star Tucker Carlson and prominent MAGA media personality Charlie Kirk have both tried to suggest the richest man in the world was responsible for unlocking their accounts on the platform after they were suspended over anti-trans tweets.

The reality of the situation, however, is that both Carlson and Kirk quietly deleted their offending tweets in order to regain access to their accounts—essentially going back on their declarations that they would never “apologize” or remove their posts misgendering and deadnaming a Biden administration official who is transgender.

This is interesting. I guess now that his audience is clearly defined the advertisers who want to target that disgusting, fetid, hateful demographic are all in.

Here is the “Tucker Carlson Tonight” playbook: Go straight for the third rail, be it race, immigration or another hot-button issue; harvest the inevitable backlash; return the next evening to skewer critics for how they responded. Then, do it all again. This feedback loop drove up ratings and boosted loyalty to Fox and Mr. Carlson.

What it did not do was endear Mr. Carlson to advertisers. As blue-chip sponsors fled, Fox filled the space with in-house promos — using Mr. Carlson’s popularity to push other Fox shows — and direct-to-consumer brands like MyPillow, whose chief executive is a major promoter of Mr. Trump’s stolen-election lie.

Last May, after promoting the white supremacist “replacement” theory, Mr. Carlson had half as many advertisers as in December 2018. But he brought in almost twice as much money.
